Jim McDonald born in March of 69, raised in Cumbernauld, Scotland. Before moving to Ashford Kent in 1986, and getting involved with the Ashford music scene..
Been singing since the age of 4, and through Amatuer Dramatics had various parts in Musical Stage Shows over the years, including the King and I, Robert and Elizabeth and Guys and Dolls.
First picked up a guitar in '96 and have played and sung in a few bands throughout Kent, including 4to1, Silly Strings, and Spitting Teeth, and gigged as a solo artist for the last 4 years in pubs and clubs, also having regular spots, since 2014, at various Festivals in and around Ashford, Kent.
Organised and presented "Jim's Jam" at the George Hotel, The Albion, The Swan Inn, and the WIndmill Inn in Ashford Kent. As well as organising an Open Mic at the various Festivals in Ashford.
​Renamed as Eclipse Acoustic in 2016, Jim McDonald a Singer/Songwriter has written a few songs, one of which, "Evergreens", has been played on radio.
Sets include original material as well as covers from the 60's and 70's.
